Terrible experience with these clowns. We had the pleasure of a Joanne Jones handling our sale. We give her credit for being consistent; always slow to respond to emails, as is standard practice she was not at her desk for phone-calls and didnt know her own references that our buyers solicitor was referring to! We found her unhelpful, not acting in our interests and not really that good at her job.As a parting gift this firm calculated our redemption statement wrong, denied it, then apologised and told us we would have to wait for our refund. Tossers.
I wouldnt use again. Didnt feel looked after, found responses rather curt at times, several key stage updates werent updated online until I queried, wrongly calculated stamp duty due on quote until I queried, charged more than quoted for one of the searches, our purchase didnt complete due to seller pulling out, when I queried fixed fee charged for work done, was told they could provide a breakdown of costs based on hourly rate of 146 plus VAT if I preferred. Disappointed as would have used for next purchase if had been satisfied.
