Please be advised that this garage will without fail rip you offI took my car in for MOT and the tester who I presumed was the owner, failed it on the rear wheel bearing being rough, he agreed to replace it straight away for me and I walked into town for an hour whilst he did it. Upon my return, my car was fixed and MOT'd, I paid my bill (which included extra "sundries" and "oil supplements" which I have no idea what these were for nor did I ask for them but was still charged) and I then left but 6 miles later my car got a flat tyre. I called the AA out as I had no wheel brace and they changed the tyre for me. I told him it had just had a new wheel bearing fitted and had that caused it? He said no as the bearing had not been changed and no work had been done to that wheel. I went to another garage the following day and he checked the other wheels and surprise surprise, none of the bearings had been changed!!I rang the garage and spoke with him and he basically told me he could charge me what he wanted and to get lost.
I have been using the garage for mots on my car for a few years.No problems fast efficient service many thanks
Read reviews sounded really good, with friendly staff. Sorry not my experience today. Unhelpful, sullen, never been to a garage with staff like it. Yes they failed my car on its front tyres, I took it away, replaced them then went back to get certificate. I take it he was the main mechanic /owner, so rude. Never using these again.
I was going to have an mot until learned my usual garage had already booked. But while there he changed a windscreen wiper and only charged 5.00
Always do a great job. Staff are honest and helpful.
